Resident Evil 5 Demo

Does your Xbox 360 say you live in Japan? If so, then you can get it. For the rest of the world, YOU CAN'T PLAY IT! LOL!
I really don't care about this game, but there are alot of people out there that want to play this game really bad. I am not excited for it. It is going to be another rental for me. Maybe I'll buy RE4 a month before RE5 comes out to see what the hype is about.

The demo offers two levels, one called "Public Assembly," another called "Shanty Town." Also: Single play or cooperative play (online or offline).
Public Assembly starts midday without fanfare, just the protagonist Chris Redfield and companion standing on the shadow-side of a rack-and-ruin building flanked by corrugated sheets of metal. Oily plumes of smoke rise in the distance. A few tires are half-sunk in the ground with the characters 7BER5 gouged in dusty rubber. The sun flares at the edges of objects. The sky is clear blue with a few wispy clouds.
Nearby: What looks to me like an African banana tree, which may suggest an East African locale like Uganda, Burundi, or Rwanda. (I could be totally wrong, I'm just guessing based on the prevalence of that tree type in those areas.) Your companion, a woman, has a rifle slung across her back and a pistol in hand. Her name is Sheva Alomar (first name apparently pronounced CHEV-uh) and I was going to say she had an Australian accent until I read that the actress who voices her was aiming for an African-English-European-Jamaican-Irish-East-Indian composite (which still sounds basically Australian to me). She has a tattoo on her upper left arm that reads "shujaa." Not ringing any bells.
The world around you has the sort of geometric irregularity you'd expect from the Real Deal, but your interaction with it is limited to the smooth, slightly recessed contours of the automap. I don't know if there's a design term that better describes it, so I'll call it "the old invisible wall trick." Waggle your knife at tree leaves or walls and nothing happens, you simply connect with empty air.
Let the controller alone, and after a moment or two the already minimalist display icons melt away for unobstructed rubbernecking. Chris looks around and dusts himself off. Sheva shuffles in place and runs the back of her partially gloved hands beneath her chin. They both make weird, repetitive gasping sounds, as if the locale were up the side of an extremely high-altitude mountain instead of somewhere sea-level.

Back when GUN started to get popular, Viggo gave away codes to you fans. There have been a lot of different things that I have given away such as PC games and XBLA Games. With your donations, Viggo can give you guys cooler and better things. Here is a description of GamingUpdateNews's history and short description of it:
GamingUpdateNews is only 3 months old, but has grown to be so much more than what Viggo expected. In late May 2008, Halo3-Tourney.com was going through some rough times. In turn, Viggo decided to make a new internet show that would bring gaming news to the masses through blogTV. GUN was orginal called GamingNewsUpdate(GNU), but Viggo believed that it didn't give a good enough ring that GUN did. Slowly, the show grew from being a long 30 minute ramble about video games to an organized 10 minute version that was not only available blogTV, but also on Facebook, Myspace, and YouTube! Recentally with the assisted decision with many of Viggo's online friends, GamingUpdateNews as moved to a new blogTV profile to start new with all new features and with new features coming! Sorry guys... I have been busy this week. I had the Castle Crashers review and I have been trying to figure out how I am going to get a job so I can afford moving into LA with faith of money to back me up incase I lose my job out there. I promise you big stuff is coming our way.
If anyone is planning on going to Comic-Con, tell me. I am going to Comic-Con. I have been trying to map that out as my first act of being out in California. We have to see how things go.
If you have a house or an apartment in the LA area, PLZ LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO TELL ME! I am trying to figure out places I could crash if my California plans crash. The best plans to make are those that catch you when you fail so you don't die.

MegaMan: A Low-Budget Title coming out in 200X
With all classic video game franchises, there is always one man out there that desires to make them into film form either on the Big Screen or the Small Screen. Eddie Lebron desired to make MegaMan. While Capcom did back up the project, it was only a low budget film. The music composition is average, but not something that would shock anyone in this kind of film. Some of the acting appears that this film won't leave fanboys needing to clean their pants, but I think it is enough to appetize their wishes to see someone else get the same inspiration to make a bigger and better film. The special effects would amaze anyone for being so well made for a low budget title. The plotline appears to be the typical human versus human conflict in the battle of Good and Evil.
Two doctors, Doctor Thomas Light and Doctor Albert Willy, created the next generation of Robots. Dr. Light wanted to create robots to assist humans for the greater good, while Dr. Willy wanted power. Dr. Willy has stolen the robots. There is only one line of defense that can save the public and return the robots to safety, MegaMan.
NXE has been released... this is what the world would be if it hadn't...

The Early Morning Update 11/11/08
Its offically Veterans Day guys and this year us gamers get a special suprise. Call of Duty: World at War came out last night, which is supposed to be the biggest Call of Duty game since the orginal came out on the PC almost 7 years ago. I am not going to be picking it up for a while since 00 SKY and me(ViggoTheCarp) are trying to figure out what game we are going to be picking up for this fall. Halo 3 was great, but there is only so much pwnage that we can pass around. I am going to start a poll on the right hand side seeing what you guys want me to buy. I will be renting all the good games that are coming out, but there are only a couple that I will be purchasing. Speaking of...
I don't want to set the world on fire... I just want to set a fire right down in your heart. Actually no... I do want to set the world on fire with Fallout 3. I have 39 more cents to pay off for it, but since I left my Drivers Liscense at home I wasn't able to pick it up yesterday. I bought the collector's edition of the game.
One funny thing, I picked up Fable 2 without my ID; but for some reason I couldn't pick up Fallout 3 without my ID at Gamestop. I declare Gamestop a store full of fail, even though I could start working there soon. The only thing that is good about Gamestop now, is that the prices on used games are awesome.
Last night, Heroes was another disapointing week. It left me wondering, "why did I watch this?" There was only 1 thing that was eventful. *SPOILER ALERT* Arthur took Hiro's powers and then we found out Mrs. Petrellia got her bitterness from Arthur when he tried to have Lenderman kill Nathan. That is all that happenned that was crucial to the story line of the Heroes universe.*SPOILER ALERT DONE*
I woke up at 4am CST exactly this morning. Guess what the first though was that popped in my head. "LEFT 4 DEAD DEMO OMGZ!!!!!!!!!" Except right now it isn't even on Xbox Live Marketplace yet. I am waiting for an email back from Trixie right now telling me what happenned so I can tell you guys what is going on. So right now I am just watching some Left 4 Dead video from G4 since they basically have gotten all the exclusive coverage on it. Here is their latest video that they have out and I am going to do a little commentary on it below:
This is the Hospital mission. Basically, you spawn and you have the POV of the Old Veteran. He has a great shot with that shotgun. You go from the rooftop down some stairs and enter what seems to be an apartment area with 20 zombies. There is creepy piano music in the background of course. Then all of a sudden there is a huge hole in the floor and YOU GET RUSHED! 40 zombies come at your and your team and get annihalated within seconds of them rushing. You finally get down to the bottom of the building and you have to go through an alley. There are jumper zombies buzzing over your heads, but they are never seen.
The player then picks up the spare pistol and unfortunately the player leaves his party behind to try to reach the objective while the AI is scared shitless. You find the station except A TOUNGE ZOMBIE grabs you and try to choke you to death. Now you finally get into the station and get rushed by the zombies that were hiding outside the Safe House.
It is time to move on to try to get to the hospital in time.. You have to travel your way through the subway area and zombies start to show up slowly. Bullets fly over your heads when your team gets rushed again. There had to have been 80 zombies rushing at least. The player fires and fires until from there being known stop groans of the zombies to a quiet echo of a zombie far away. There was another tounge zombie, but your allies take him down within seconds. You are lucky once again you get some ammo, but you are rushed. HOLY SHIT!!!!! You get jumped and almost get killed and zombies are still coming at your. Your team is barely alive when a Hunter apears and almost kills you. One more hit and you would have been infected...
You enter the next area and all you can hear is flies and then you can hear zombies and you and your team get surronded again. You finally have reached the foundation of the Hospital except now you need to get to the top to the helicopter. You reach a room where you just get rushed non-stop for about 40 seconds with zombies and then you are forced to flip a switch to turn the power back on and you get rushed. Zombies come from all sides. From the 2nd level of the room to the door right next to you. Your player takes some pain killers and gets some new ammo. Things seem quiet and you start to hear a womans moaning... The video cuts out.
Ok... its 6:20am now... its time to check if the Left 4 Dead demo is out yet. Peace guys!
